Custom Screen Room, Deck & Exterior Remodel

This Highland, Illinois home renovation transformed the exterior of the property while creating a comfortable new space for enjoying the surrounding wooded views.

The centerpiece of the project is a spacious custom screen room featuring extra-wide 12-foot screen panels. The larger panels reduce visual obstructions and provide expansive views of the natural surroundings while keeping the space protected and comfortable.

Inside, a tongue-and-groove barn wood ceiling adds warmth and character to the screen room. Recessed lighting and a large ceiling fan were incorporated into the ceiling to provide illumination, airflow, and additional comfort.

Low-maintenance composite decking was installed throughout the outdoor living area, providing the appearance of traditional decking with long-lasting durability and less ongoing maintenance.

The project also included extensive exterior improvements to create a cohesive new look for the home. Rich, modern siding was paired with contrasting black trim, replacement windows, and new doors, tying the screen room and existing home together as one complete exterior design.

From the custom screen room and composite decking to the siding, windows, and doors, this Highland project demonstrates how multiple exterior improvements can work together to completely transform a home’s appearance and outdoor living space.
